Benefits:

There are six levels of cover to choose from:
  • Level 1 = Rs. 250,000
  • Level 2 = Rs. 350,000
  • Level 3 = Rs. 500,000
  • Level 4 = Rs. 750,000
  • Level 5 = Rs. 1,000,000
  • Level 6 = Rs. 1,500,000
Premium is age rated and increases, as the insured person gets older. The age band applicable at the time of renewal would apply. Also, the premium change due to age band change would apply from the time of policy being renewed.

Covered Illnesses:
  1. First Heart Attack
  2. Cancer, excluding skin cancer
  3. Stroke
  4. Coronary Artery Surgery
  5. Kidney Failure
  6. Major Organ Transplantation
  7. Coma
  8. Major Burns
  9. Multiple Sclerosis
  10. Paralysis
  11. Total Blindness
Age: 18 – 60 years. Annually renewable till 64 years.

Claims under the policy will be payable subject to the following conditions:
  • The Insured Person must experience a Critical Illness specifically listed and defined
  • The Critical Illness experienced by the Insured Person must be the first incidence of that Critical Illness
  • The signs or symptoms of the critical illness experienced by the Insured Person should have commenced more than 180 days after the Effective Date
  • None of the General or Specific Limitations or Exclusions (as listed below) apply
  • The Insured Person must survive the Illness for 30 days from the date of diagnosis
Exclusions:
  • Any pre-existing condition
  • Any illness, sickness or disease other than those specified
  • Any Critical illness of which, the signs and symptoms first occurred prior to or within 180 days following the effective date of the policy
  • Illness resulting from physical or mental condition
  • Intentional or self inflicted injury or illness, sexually transmitted condition, mental or nervous disorder, stress or depression, acquired immune deficiency syndrome (aids) Human Immune Deficiency Virus (HIV) infection or suicide
  • War, civil war, invasion, insurrection, revolution, act of foreign enemy, hostilities (whether declared or not) rebellion, mutiny, use of power or usurpation of government or military power
  • Ionising, radiation or contamination by radioactivity from any nuclear fuel or from any nuclear waste from burning nuclear fuel
  • The radioactive, toxic, explosive or other dangerous properties of any explosive nuclear equipment or any part of the equipment
  • Congenital anomalies or conditions arising there from
  • Participation in winter sports, skydiving/parachuting, hang gliding, bungee jumping, scuba diving, mountain climbing (where ropes or guides are customarily used), riding or driving in races or rallies using motorized vehicle or bicycle, caving or pot-holing, hunting or equestrian activities, skin diving or other underwater activity, rafting or canoeing involving white rapids, yachting or boating outside coastal waters (2 miles), participation in any professional sport, any bodily contact sport or any other hazardous or potentially dangerous sport for which you are trained or untrained.
  • Loss resulting directly or indirectly, contributed or aggravated by childbirth or from pregnancy
  • Any Critical Illness based on a Diagnosis made by the Insured or his/her Immediate Family member, or anyone living in the same household, or by herbalists, acupuncturist or other non-traditional health care provider
  • Cosmetic or plastic surgery or any elective surgery or cosmetic procedure that improves physical appearance, surgical and non-surgical treatment for obesity (including morbid obesity) and weight control programs, or treatment of an optional nature
  • Special nursing care, routine checks or convalescence, Custodial Care, general debility, lethargy, rest cure
  • Any investigation or treatments not directly related to Covered Illnesses or Covered Injury or the conditions or diagnosis necessitating hospital admission
